Josie Lavita is the current CFO of Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) responsible for a combined operating and capital budget of $4.6 billion to ensure a safe, reliable and resilient transit contribute to the economic, environmental and social well being of the City. Her portfolio includes finance, information technology, materials management, procurement and category management.
With more than 30 years of broad financial experience and 16 years as the former Executive Director responsible for the City of Toronto and its agencies’ budget of $13.5 billion for 150 City services, Josie Lavita’s many achievements included designing and implementing the City’s multi-year, service-based, priority and performance-focused budget process. She played a leadership role in developing the strategic direction, analysis and recommendations of Toronto’s SAP ERP implementation and Financial Transformation.
Josie holds a Master of Public Administration, Carleton University.
John ComacchioSenior Vice President and Chief Information OfficerTeknion Corporation
John Comacchio is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Teknion, where he is responsible for providing enterprise-wide technology vision, leadership and management. He is a member of the Leadership Team and the Executive Committee. Passionate about mentorship and developing future leaders, he is mento in the Teknion Mentor program.
Previously was a Principal of KPMG Consulting, General Manager US Interactive Toronto, the Information Technology Officer at Nissan Canada, and a member of the Nissan North American CIO Council. John also sits on a series of Technology Advisory Board, bringing external strategic insights into view.
John holds a Master of Business Administration Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
